Using Timepost with Basecamp

Basecamp is one of the most popular project collaboration tools on the market, and makes a great companion for Timepost. You can collect timesheets from contractors anywhere in the world using Timepost, and analyze the report information from your Basecamp account.

What account plans are supported by Timepost?
Time tracking features are not available in the Basic or Free Basecamp plans. You’ll need to upgrade to a Plus or Max plan, or use another service to integrate with Timepost.

How do I enable API Access in Basecamp?
To enable API access in Basecamp, login to your account as an administrator and click the Account tab in the upper-right side of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and follow the instructions under the Basecamp API section.

Why aren’t my todo lists available in Timepost?
Timepost will only show todo lists that have time tracking enabled. To enable time tracking for a todo list, login to your account and click the To-Do tab. Find the todo list you want to enable and put your mouse over the list title. Click the red Edit link that appears to the left, and check the box next to Enable time tracking for this list.
